Deadly Arcade was a browser game created to promote The Walt Disney Company Latin America's (former Fox Latin America) new show Deadly Class. As violent as the show originally was, beat 'em up was the perfect genre choice for this game, entertaining while also making fun of some of the most famous TV series at that moment.
I took part since the beginning of the project with initial concepts, and later creating and iterating characters and UI.
The game received many accolades, among them 2 bronzes at Diente 2019 for Diseño Digital and Advertgames categories, a bronze at El Ojo Iberoamerica 2019 for Producción Digital, was finalist at 2019 BIG Festival, for BIG Brands, and more.

Below are some early versions of the characters I helped create for the game (there were more than 50!), all in pixel art and animated frame-by-frame.

This actually became a great challenge for the team as we needed to find ways to streamline the remaking process when the client asked for adjustments. To not sacrifice the number of different characters, we opted to make animations with fewer frames and followed basically the same model sheet.

I also made some "hi-res" version of some of the main characters, used for the splash screen, combo activation and the game landing page, and some lovely UI assets.
